Who can get Made Smarter adoption support, what it funds in each English region, and how to prepare a project that qualifies.
The Made Smarter adoption programme is UK government-backed support that helps small and medium-sized manufacturing and engineering businesses in England adopt industrial digital technology. Depending on the region, it includes digital roadmaps, workshops, leadership training, digital interns and match-funded grants of up to £20,000.
Eligibility is limited to SMEs with manufacturing premises in England. The programme is delivered through regional bodies, so the offer differs by area. Wales has its own routes. See manufacturing consultants for Wales.
